Team Harms Workplace Wellness: Thursday 30
This workplace wellness stuff is no joke. Just when I was starting to feel like I was in a rut, Trainer Nancy shook things up and introduced the "Thursday 30" routine! She's very intuitive, don't you think?
The blur is strategically placed so you can't see how sweaty we are![/caption]
These days the office is bare-bones over the lunch hour on Thursdays so we can participate in a quick cardio/strength group workout....which takes....30 minutes!
This week we stretched the workout another 1.5 minutes and squeezed in an impromptu plank-off! (I think we surprised the trainer with that one!)
What I'm trying to say is this: Exercise and fitness CAN be fun! You may think you'll never find yourself willingly dropping to plank against your coworkers, but goodness it's fun to giggle like that in the middle of the work day!
We'd also like to announce that we'll have an office-record participation for Team Harms this Saturday at the Run for the Rock in Lake Mills! Watch for us...we'll be the sea of red Harms Insurance Group shirts if you're in the area early on the morning of June 8th!
